Help - Shield Crush Slayer, how to scale damage?

This is my second ever poe1 leage and I'm having a lot of fun. I had a smooth league start and atlas progression to t16 maps. I got my first 2 voidstones. I've done all the guardians and even done the Guardian Maven invitation without much effort. I've tried shaper twice, and died both times to mechanics, but had pretty good damage. I am not sure how to scale my damage now. I've tried looking at other shield crush slayers on poe.ninja, I don't know what I am doing wrong... Any help would be appreciated!
