Season Two, Event 182: 1 Hour Cutthroat Solo

This league has Cutthroat and Hardcore enabled, when you die to enemies of any type you will be moved to Default league.

A summary of hardcore Cutthroat rules:
  • This is a separate short-duration league that has its own stash (as usual). At the end of the event, characters and stashed items will be moved to Hardcore.
  • There's a PvP damage multiplier because players start with a lot more life than they do damage. This multiplier will be adjusted substantially based on feedback from this event and others.
  • Players are hostile by default to players who are not in their party.
  • You can ctrl+click on the entrance to an area to use the Instance Management screen to manually enter any other player's instance of an area.
  • Cut-throat instances can hold a maximum of 12 players.
  • This is a hardcore league. When you die, you will be moved to default league, you lose the normal experience penalty for your difficulty plus 30% of your current level. You also drop all inventory and equipped items. Your flasks, skill gems (even ones in your inventory) and quest items are not dropped.
  • If you were killed by another player, your lost experience is split among their party.
  • If you attempt to abruptly leave the game in a non-town instance, you have to wait 5 seconds and are unable to move or use flasks.
  • The grace period of invulnerability upon entering an area is 20 seconds. This should start once the player is mostly done loading.
  • Non-partied players only show up on the map if they're nearby.
  • There are no notifications for players joining or leaving areas.
  • Portals cannot be used until they have been up for five seconds.
  • You cannot apply microtransaction effects to items in cut-throat. You may dance and have pets.

First! Also, I was wondering if the damage multiplier applies late game

The biggest problem I am having with the cutthroat races is that when someone enters my instance, I get the old summons skelly lag. I have been killed by this this lag when someone jumps in the instance just after I enter, I become a sitting duck.

Dude came on my screen about 20 yards from the town entrance, I got the summon skeleton lag spike, I could not run, I could not swing... and I was dead.

If I am deeper in the instance and get the lag, I know to GTFO of there.

Pro Tip. If you find an item that you don't want to lose in a CT race, be sure to put it in your stash before you step out of town. Pro Tip! My first CT race and I chanced a redbeak unique, but I didn't stash it when I had the chance. Oh well! Grats to the one who killed me.

I like cuthroat, but I hate when lvl 10s and 12s run around the terraces killing the people trying to get back in the race and at least get a few reward points out of it x_X
First cutthroat that I stayed alive until the end.

Farmed players in prisoners gate from 10 to 14. I don't think I have the heart for this lol... every time I killed someone once I hit 12 I just felt bad.

Anyway, end gear

only worth wile stuff
HAHAHAH really? the only race i thought you dont get rewarded for level and so i tried to kill some high level players, i get a demigod xDD
Tried to kill the #2 mara on Singapore server sadly the potion buttons react poorly there so I died :/

Didn't have a good weapon anyway.
Shaoxy almost killed me 30s before the end, jumped on me and put me 40% heal, then he desync and i save my life :D
