Aegis Aurora Templar

Hi there.
I decided to create an Aegis Aurora-based Templar.
I want to use ES/Armour equipment. As far as skills go i want to use Tempest Shield, Molten Shell and a few auras.
My question is: what offensive AoE and single target skills should I use? What type of weapon should i use (sword, axe, mace)?
I was thinking Lightning Strike + Glacial Hammer with a mace.
Any help would be appreciated.
