0.11.6e Patch Notes

I restarted and rebooted the machine, same issue. Ofc as admin.
Solved by unistalling and then installing the whole 4gigs again, 90 minutes later the game works fine with the latest patch.
Hope will not have to do this again when the next patch arrives ;)

you can backup the content.ggpk from the game's installation folder, reinstall and put it back in the folder before you start the game. you shouldn't have to redownload the whole ressource file then.

you dont seem to understand. patching from d to e to f gave the above error. I tried multiple "solutions" to no avail. Ultimately I uninstalled the game and installed again, with the new patch included (that gave problems when trying to update incrementally)
backing up a previous patch is useless in this situation because it would give me the same error

nothing in the error message you posted indicated the error was involving the ressource file. so i thought it's not necessary to download it again.
