[0.9.13] Kripparrian's Bow Templar Build

Im also really interested in a guide for this build (which passives + items and skills to use)as I feel most comfortable with a bow atm.
For thoes asking the build will still "work" though it will be a fairly poor build with the nerfs. The major nerf was taking away LA's ability to shock without a crit. This significantly reduced the damage output even a variation of the build would do.

The other "nerf" that wasnt a direct nerf to this build is endgame. The mobs hit so hard endgame that the HP this build would be capable of getting simply wouldnt be enough combined with the damage. You WILL get hit engame now and this build is easily 1-2 shot by regular mobs.



What I would reccomend is taking the same idea behind it but going for more crit starting with the shadow or ranger tree. With shadow you can get alittle more HP, get IR for armor, have more access to hp and alot of access to crit. With ranger you have access to more HP, IR, Blood magic, and alittle crit.

The one thing to keep in mind is regardless of what you decide you will need decent gear to survive endgame now. Kripps build only worked because of how quickly he shock stacked mobs at range and at the time nothing in act 1 or 2 moved as fast or hit as hard as most of the mobs in act 3/maps.

I'm currently lvl 63 using LA + weapon elemental damage + chain + lesser multiple projectiles, totally obliviates grouped packs.

How you shock the mobs without any crit in this build? I think it is nerfed?!
from the static blows (10%) + node = 20% chance on hit.

Mayor changes:

- I skipped the 'Area skills radius' nodes, close to the start. Got more Mana/Int instead and the 7% reduces skill mana cost node, which should be useful especially at the beginning and later with the auras.

- I chose a different path at the Marauder tree, not taking the 'crit multiplier reduction' nodes and the 'troll bloot' and 8% life nodes - but instead more armor/movementspeed, which should help kiting and taking hits on merciless, as armor is quiete easy to stack up and one of the main dmg reducers of this build. (tho I got two other 8% life nodes up at the "Fitness" circle, to balance the two ones I just left)

- I've taken the "+10% chance to shock", at the 'static blows' circle (have you forgot that one or didnt take it for a particular reason?)

All in all I think it will be pretty endgame viable with a few good items on top. As we've seen in your videos, its even pretty doable without good gear. Additionally this build provides good flexibility with plenty of lifenodes, resist and mana/dex nodes around the way, just in case you need them. Plus with this build you get +30 more Int and +10 more str (not too important tho).

What do you guys think?
