"The amount of race info is too damn low!"

It's shocking how little info about races is given. What the heck is Fixed Party ? Why isn't there a page on this very website (not some announcement or forum post buried in an archive) describing all the race types and mods ?
Most of the time I have to just wait and see what a race entails :/

Fixed Party...I hope it doesn't involve veterinarians with clippers...
The race info post above contains three links. Try click them. One of them explains what Fixed Seed means. Party should be obvious.

would still be pretty nice to have it on the page with the race info imo

Agree! It should be listed under in the Rules section together with "Hardcore".
After reading all of the links I still have no idea what "Fixed Party" means.

Is this Fixed Maps + Parties Available or is it literally a Fixed Party, where you get one party of (assumedly 6 people) that you cannot change and if people die off, then you're hosed?
"Please click this link if this is your first event", I believe, could refer to the type of event. So click the link if it's your first fixed seed, after that no need to have a description cluttering up the event.
"'What is this thing, anyway?' said the Dean, inspecting the implement in his hands.
'It's called a shovel', said the Senior Wrangler. 'I've seen the gardeners use them. You stick the sharp end in the ground. Then it gets a bit technical.'" -Terry Pratchett, Reaper Man

It means the map is pre-revealed and it's also a party race.
