6links are nice for DPS, which changes how the build feels. I 6l'd 2 items myself and liked both of them.. one was an Armor/Str based 6L... Ultimately, it is about getting the best items you can and tweaking your build accordingly. For pure tanking the hits from Kaom's are great -- but you give up a lot of DPS.

Great build, my build is 99% built around this but from duelist side. Nearly the same gear with ventors sword and belt. And a mix of other stuff. Though I chose heavy strike/ cyclone with the build. Much faster for killing.

Thanks. I like and still use heavy strike for certain boss fights, but not for general partying or soloing due to the knockback. For the majority of situations I found my reave setup the most useful/versatile (but not always the absolute best for each occasion).

I play in the hardcore league and I love tanky builds, which I have had many nice tanky builds, but after seeing yours it was obvious it was the King of tanks :) So for months now I have been grinding, trading, and crafting hard to put together this build and I have finally done it! I am very pleased with it! So again, THANK YOU! <3

Level 93 in hardcore league so far. The only thing I need to work on is getting more armor as I only have 71% DR right now, but it's still good enough for now :)

Here my gear is case anyone is curious (The sword took me months to finish since trading in HC is so slow which made it hard to find ET's for trade)

With Rime gaze, I would have less armor, would that be a big loss for dmg reduction?
