Shipping not rewarding items anymore

Prior to the recent patch sending Verisium to Te Onui would result in getting back some Unique Items. However since the patch my last 4 boats that I've sent some on have yet to yield a single item. I've sent a few hundred bars on each shipment, not massive numbers but the same quantity used to result in a few items.

Edit 1: to add another port of issue. Shipping Bismuth to Ribbon Fell which should result in quality gems results in no gems.

I'm going to send out a boat with nothing but those on it and see if anything at all returns. I will happily throw away resources in the attempt of figuring this out.

Edit 2: Boat of nothing but Bismuth worked when paired with crops yielded nothing for gems though.
