[TEMPEST] RaizQT's Poison trapper [lvl97+ top 20] BUILD OF THE WEEK + ATZIRI KILL!

This is my third topic like this. I'm making it because many people have been asking the same questions on my stream and hopefully it will help out some people :). I apologize in advance for my english/grammar/unproffesionalism (??) but I'll do my best and hopefully it won't be too terrible!

I stream 12h + a day so its hard to miss when im online :) I managed to get back into the top 50(lvl 92) basically starting from scratch (no maps/currency) in a little bit less than 9 day playing about 8-10 hours everyday on average.

All of these videos are my FIRST ATTEMPTS at these bosses with this build. All of them are on farm status and NO MODS ARE SCARY. I decided to upload my first tries because of how easy it made them look even thou it was only my first attempt. To anyone that wants to see more, i do these and many more ALL day with -max/double boss/no regen/blood magic etc on my stream. At this point the only thing i didn't do is double palace Dominus but i will keep trying. Not uploading any invasion bosses cause they all die too fast to make a video out of it :P

PROS
-Outstanding damage. It just does SOOOO much damage nothing more i can say here :P

-Scales incredibly. Every lvl of poison arrow gives about 20-25 % total dps increase.

-Great survivability. Grace, evasion, acrobatics, phase acro and 200 + % max life along with the mobility of a trapper.

-Super cheap. The only item you really require is a + 2 or + 3 bow. It works great on a 4l anything else is just a minor improvement :) Empower and a 5l becomes really big once you have a + 3 bow.

- ANY MAP/INVASION BOSS!! All bosses are on farm status :)

- ANY MAP MOD!! You heard me. Im doing double courtyard/shrine/crema bosses with -max/no regen/blood magic/vulnr/added damage ALL day(check out the stream or vids :)). No map mod is scary for this build.

- Easy lvling, around lvl 30-40 you clear as fast or faster than a facebreakers build.

- Small aoe and limited traps when leveling up.

SKILLS

Helm 4l - Desecrate / Increased AOE / Conc effect / Trap. Your desecrate slot. You can also use deerskin boots for a "5l" if you need one for some reason. This slot is no longer necessary because of the changes to detonate dead, however you might still want to use it for additional damage.

Weapon bow 4-6 link - Poison arrow / Increased AOE / Slower projectiles / Trap / Empower / Pierce or enhance (pierce for drillneck quiver or enhance for increased aoe). Get a + 2/3 bow and then the 2 last gems become quite necessary. However a 6l + 3 bow might cos you around 15-20 exalts

Gloves 4l - Up to you. Could be a CWDT slot. Or get BM / Curse / Faster casting / Rallying cry in here.

Boots 4l - Vulnerability / Grace / Clarity / enlighten. Curse + aura slot, no build can avoid this.

Chest 5l 6s - Fire trap / chance to ignite / Increase AOE / Fire pen / Prolif. Not much to say, when youre out of PA traps use fire trap :)

GEAR

gloves/quiver/helm : resists/life/evasion/maana

Jewelry : Life/ressists/mana/mana regen/es/%ES

Boots : life/mana/armour/ressists/25% + MS. You can also switch your gear out a little bit and use deerskin for a 5l desecrate but it completely depends on You.

belt :life/ressists. Regular belt or use sunblast depending on your preference/league.

chest : If you have the currency, get a carcass jack. If you dont have the currency use a regular chest with life/mana/es/armour/ressist and switch to a carcass when you have enough :) not that big of a deal but helps a bit with clear speed.

weapon : Other than the + 2 bow skills + 1 all gems nothing matters here :) Its cool if you get some ressists or something but it doesnt matter much. I recommend higher attack speed bows because you might want to take out your trap gem for solo play (if you do enough damage)

Q : What bandits ?
A : norm - oak / cruel - skill point / merc - skill point

Q : How do i lvl this?!!
A : I lvl with fire trap + flame totem + fire storm traps. DONT START USING POISON ARROW UNTILL YOU HAVE ALL THE DPS NODES(~44ish)

Q : Do i need to get quality on my gems?
A : I HIGHLY recommend having quality on poison arrow. increased AOE and DD. Obviosly having it on empower helps too. The rest is not such a big deal.

Q : Why dont you use a sunblast belt?!
A : I feel for a hardcore league the amount of damage sunblast gives does not justify the loss of defense a regular belt would give you.

Q : My tooltip dps sucks! whats up with that?!
A : If you look at tooltip dps youre simply playing this game wrong. Both Poison arrow and desecrate tooltip dps is not affected by about 50 % of the multipliers in this build. So unless you are comparing the EXACT same gem setup with another person it is simply pointless to look at it most of the time. Sorry, but i will no longer respond to this question on my stream or on this topic it is simply brought up too much and i am losing patience arguing that this game is not diablo3 :P I will however most likely redirect you to here, hello :)

I am wondering, how can you sustain Artic Armor + MOM considering your gear is moslty Evasion (i dont see much ES, and you are not using Discipline either) ?


Anyway, it would be great if you could detail a bit the leveling part. I.E which Keystone do you aim first, then which you do you follow etc. (what do you prioritize during leveling).

Sadly the build you linked does not have any options to expand after that lvl. The one i did has more mana and also the option to expand to templar etc.
