Not going to call full out bullshit, but yeah using 2k fusings without ever getting a 5 link is basically statistically impossible.

Are you saying you spent ~12 exalts trying to 6 link that shavs (calculating acc. to current ratio 1 exa: 165 fus). You know you can buy a 6 link prophecy for around 10 ex right? And also vorici 1500 fuse 6 link.
Just saying, if you have that many fuses to spend and its a crucial item, you might have gone for the guaranteed method rather than risking it. |

People who don't play all the time *have* to rely on manual fusing to fuse stuff, because they don't have 1500 fusings to spend 6Ling something. So of course you will see lots of success stories.
People tell you when they spend 2k+ fusings and don't get a 6L, and they also tell you when they spend under 300 fusings to get a 6L. The second one is much more likely, because way more people have 300 fusings than 2k fusings. But nobody says 'I spent 300 fusings and didn't get a 6L'. That is a super boring story. Of course you didn't get a 6L. If everyone told you all their data (I spent 100 fusings once and didn't get a 6L - woah big deal), then you would see that most people don't get that lucky. Also, most people aren't as *unlucky* as you, because most people don't have 5000 fusings to waste trying to get a 6L. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Last league i tried to 6L myself something and i failed after using 800 fus (not that much but still i could have almost buy it with that amount of currency).
In prophecy i just 6L my shav with vorici. Took me 1 month i think to collect the 1500 fus via the daily vorici and converting my JWL from NPC (and also selling some chaos). |

Isn't there a prophesy for 5 and 6 links? 6-linking was supposed to be 20% easier than it was a few years ago and people werent having these issues before. 6L shouldn't be doable for 99% of the community, it should be a lottery because ffs we need something to be truly rare in an "MMO". If there is a better way for something to be rare, let it be known so GGG can benefit from your infinite wisdom. Currently the only other rarity is Legacy, and people flip out over that pretty bad already.
