São Paulo (BR) server lagging for me and friends (ForWeeks)
For more than 1 week Brazilian servers are 260 ms ping, STABLE AT 260, it used to be 50 ms, as i live not so close but still close to São Paulo.
I can navigate, access all websites, youtube, download, all good, but the BR server is lagged for me and other brazilian friends as well. So. Please, at least tell us, what's up? http://imgur.com/a/oBD90 ping test First is to a default server chosen by the website, second is to a São Paulo server. Buff life on the right side of the tree! Just a little! Pretty Please! Última edição por The_Risen#6326 em 14 de set. de 2016 22:51:19 Último bump em 16 de set. de 2016 18:06:41

I mentioned it in another thread but just to make sure everyone is aware of the situation, I will reiterate it here. A lot of folks in Brazil are having problems, and the trouble seems to be within the network of a company going by the name 'embratel.net'. They seem to be a primary company for routing traffic in the area.
It seems they have a bad node / connection between many players and the gateway. Unfortunately, this problem is out of the reach of GGG. The problem is located before data reached the gateway host. The only 2 suggestions I have for folks impacted are: 1 - contact your ISP and see if they are able to alter their routing to avoid the problematic node. 2 - connect through a VPN. This should change the route your data takes, and MAY avoid the problematic node as well. "I would have listened... I would have understood!" - Scion

" 1 - they don't have a good (to not say terrible) callcenter service, and they just don't care if you have high latency on PoE 2 - not everyone has vpn/proxy knowledge and what/how to do to fix that problem 3 - We (brazilian community) expect at least GGG makes a official post about it. If they can or cannot help us. I think GGG, as a company, and a big one, have much more chances to fix that with NET/Embratel than us, single users, as mentioned in 1 |

" That is sadly becoming a problem with MANY internet providers. " You raise a valid point. It might be a good idea to come up with a guide for VPN options and set up steps for various global locations. It's a bit of an undertaking, but I may look into this. " This tech forum is mostly for community help. Most official posts about such issues would come via the news feed / announcements. I'm betting that, by this point, they are aware of the problem. Apparently, there was an official release from several network hosts in the area admitting that there were issues. I'm sorr to say that, in this section of the forums, you will probably hear mostly from other users like me. Have you tried contacting support though email? Have they gotten back to you? I know there is still a back log...but it is worth a shot. "I would have listened... I would have understood!" - Scion
