Best/Most Fun Duos?

Hey guys, I've been playing Poe on and off for years, but I mostly play it duo with my brother. Since there's only two of us it seems to be a lot different from a party of 4 (A lot of the ladder consists of that) and makes builds feel very different then when solo

My question is what do you guys think the most fun/best duo combo would be? This doesn't have to be constrained to just 3.1 and it doesn't necessarily have to be the strongest (Though we do like doing well). We've tried out many many combos from duo totems, tank and ranger, and many others that we try to synergize well. For the starter my bro is actually looking to do an auramancer and as far as what class that works best I have no clue. Many of the new skills look great, but we want to just rush up some currency so we can just theory craft and test out our own builds.

TL:DR, We're going to try rushing up to get rich enough to make a fun duo, what would you recommend?

kinetic blast wander + aurabot
spectral throw + aurabot
la/tornado shot + aurabot

Essentially if you want to be efficient, aurabot is the way, with max gem level, aurabot can add 3-5 times more dps than single person would normally have. Aurabot has peculiar gamestyle however, so its not for every1.

If you arent going for max efficiency, just play whatever you want.

If your bro is willing to be an aurabot, you should go for something that benefits greatly from it. This usually means fast hitting elemental damage. KB wasn't touched by 3.1 so it's going to stay at the top of the food chain for clearing in the game. New bow mods from shaper items are ridiculously OP (but likely extremely rare and expensive).

How would a sunder build work with an aurabot? With the Vaal Pact moved down near duelist a tanky gladiator sunder with enough dps might work really well not having to go so far for it.

Done ST and LA/TS before, but never KB so I may try that out, but I worry about cost due to popularity of builds vs sunder which seems to be pretty cheap.

An aura bot can pretty much compliment anything, even nerfed stuff. Hell Aurabots probably make Elemental Hit a good build. And that is just fucking Blasphemy!

There really isn't room for "interesting" duos if that is your definition of fun. You can do random crap like have a fire and ice duo both EE triggering and helping each other slightly but that is about it. Otherwise it is just literally, choose two builds and make them synergize slightly with 1 ranged and one close range character, 1 build burst damage and one, more constant smaller damage, etc.
