100%+ chance to avoid bleed but still bleeding sort of
Hi.
I have a character with 77% chance to avoid bleeding from abyss jewels and another 25% chance to avoid bleeding from soul of ralakesh. This works and makes me effectively immune to regular bleed; the kind that deals additional damage over time while moving. However, the "corrupted blood" kind, the kind that deals a set amount, moving or not, but stacks up with multiple applications, bypasses the avoidance and applies normally. I believe "chance to avoid bleed" should apply to both types of bleeds as flasks with the "of staunching" suffix, which removes and grants immunity to "bleeding", does affect both types, implying both types are equally considered "bleed" within the logic of the game. If I'm mistaken, my bad :S My supporter items: Victario's Charity and The Forsaken Último bump em 24 de jan. de 2018 19:10:58

Bleed such as it is comes from a hit that applies the ailment, corrupted blood isn't actually a bleed, though it has all the same effects (like ignites burning and burning ground both having you on fire)...would be my guess

If you have 100% bleed avoidance or more, i believe corrupted blood isn't supposed to affect you.
Now, i have a theory that could explain why it doesn't work. Maybe Ralakesh behaves multiplicatively, whether it's intended or not. In your case, that would give you a total 82% bleed avoidance (rounded down). But if that's true, you should also be affected by regular bleed from time to time. " No. Bleed specifically refers to the ailment 'Bleed'. |

" To be honest, Corrupted Blood is a bit confused on whether it wants to be a Bleeding effect or not. A flask of Staunching removes all stacks of CB, and makes you immune to receiving more for its duration. I'm fairly sure other "Immune to Bleeding" modifiers do the same (can't test it right now). |
