Stop resetting the skill tree...

I dont care if the tree changed, gives us the option to respec if we want.

how do you plan to keep your old tree when tree has changed ?
did u see a really old skill tree?
there is nothing you can do with it.

How would you do that if a node that you specced into is not there any more, splitting your tree in half?

Fixing the tree is only 5 minutes of work. Once all three months, at most.

I've not been around as long as others on here, so I've only witnessed this happening twice so far. In both cases, the skill tree itself was *not* reset, but we were able to manually reset it.

I don't know if the tree ever forcibly resets, though I suspect if the layout changes a lot there's probably no other reasonable alternative.

I happen to like the manual reset that we're sometimes able to do: our trees remain unchanged, and from there we're able to choose whether to reset the tree to do a full respec, or just continue building the tree without respeccing. If you make changes to the tree before using the respec option, you lose the free respec.

your tree is only cleared if a node was changed.
else you get the option to reset.

i for one love that the tree is reset, as it lets me test out a few things or fix some builds easily :D

I experienced a few tree resets ... seems to happen nearly with every major update.

With some chars I managed to reconstruct the former skilltree ... with some i took it as a chance for trying something different.
But most of the times i didn't manage to reconstruct my old tree.

No Problem for those, simply "rebuilding" an existing skilltree (following the guide, that helped building the char) or having their choices saved somehow (PoB, Screenshots, whatsoever).

I'd like the option to NOT reset the skilltree if no nodes chosen have been changed ... or at least reconstruct it automatically.

Until now, the reset often leads to trashing the char, and simply build a new one.

The forced reset is not appreciated by me at all .. it keeps me from further leveling an old char in standard, when the new league has started, and the skilltree was reset.
