[PS4] Character build is WANTED

Hi there!

I'm planning to start playing actively with Legion league release.
Due to all these issues in end game content (freeze, blue screens, etc), most of the PC builds are not playable on PS4.

Could you recommend a good build to play, with focus on platinum trophy on ps4? I'm currently considering Templar Storm Band. Does anyone has luck with SB on PS4?

Join the melee train, extreme buffs with flat phys damage on the skills, and its more fun to play aswell, well to me it is.

Please check either:

1. PoE build section. At the top of the page click "Forum" and halfway down will say "Classes / Builds". Choose what character, which will load all acsendencys, and you can narrow from there.

2. Look at https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds. Choose what league in the top right corner. You can filter by class, skill, items, and keystones / ascendency.

3. http://timtips.com/buildbrowser/#/list. You can choose what patch (3.7, 3.6, etc..) and what skill you want to use. The links provided will actually bring you back here to these forums found in option 1, but right to that build.

Did you play at console? I did. There are only few viable builds here. Coz there is no mouse&keyboard at console. Only 8 keys for active skills and 2 of it is for light&dinamit. Its a lot of frustrating when you uderstand that you like this game, but you can't effectively play all builds. All melee skills a just unplayable here.

In short: storm brand is fast at maps, but tweaking cost a lot and hard at end bosses.
Winter Orb is good, but will get nerf soon.
Summoners is ok, but it will coz more crushes.
HoA is fast and fun, but this minion is dumb and attack whatever it want instead of boss.
Tornado Shot - not so good, coz you can't shoot behind the enemy.
Elemental Hit - not bad, pretty cheap, good damage.


Not recomended:
- totems - you can't set totems precisely.
- any melee skils - just unplayable with gamepad.

What about lags? Is it true that switching from 4k to 1080 increase stability of the game on PS4?

On PS4 Pro you will still have drops at 1080, I don't bother with 4K when it comes to PoE.

Game crashes every 2-5 hours coz memory overflow. It specialy happen at Synthesis league coz a lot of instance loading simultaniously with a high ammounts of mobs. I hope Legion league will consume less memory and crushes will be rare.

When I disable Beacon of Ruins at my Elementalist caracter fps goes up drasticaly.

Played PoE only on Xbox since its release. Over 2k hours also. While I do agree that roughly half of the builds listed are not really viable on console, those are the best places to find builds and where I go go to do so. here are some of the builds I have used since release that may be outdated now:

All of these builds had no issues on console other than price and availability of items. Most of these I still have on my character page. I played many other builds, but I kept these links to revisit at later times to play again.

You also don't need more than 8 buttons. Once your auras are active you can un-assign them to free up slots. I do agree the extra 2 required for Delve is a PITA, but I don't particularly care for Delve.
