Witch vs Hiero for Archmage

Hey everyone,

I was looking for a archmage build and found(on poe.ninja) that most people use Hierophant for archmage Ball Lightning and Elementalist for archmage Arc.

I know that builds on poe.ninja does not provide the full picture but I was wondering if there is a game related reason for that to happen or is just coincidence.
