More low-end vendor recipes
Taken from "Fusing/Jeweller's Orb Quality Change":
" For the record, I completely agree with this. For instance, a 4L item typically goes for 1 alch/fuse in trade chat—if and when you have an exact combination someone is looking for. That once made me dedicate three stash tabs to 4L items; the first time I bought extra tabs was exactly for this. I've since vended most of them because nobody needed them. I can't say I'm a big fan of trading in general, but from player-vendor economy standpoint it makes little sense that very rare items (not "yellow rare", just rare) are worth the same as a driftwood club from Normal Twilight Strand. Of course, since the game still has open economy, these new potential recipes should be moderate enough not to disrupt it in a tangible way. My suggestions: — 3 5-socket items yield 1 Jeweller's Orb; — 5 4-linked items yield 1 Orb of Fusing; — 1 white item with a top roll on its implicit mod (where applicable, like Gold Rings and the such) yields 1 complete scroll of wisdom; — a 4S/5S item with 4 off-color sockets yields 1 Chromatic Orb; — a 5S item with all 5 sockets off-color yields 10 Chromatic Orbs. Of particular interest are gem recipes. Currently there are no good sinks for gems, especially leveled ones, and it's generally harder to find buyers for a leveled gem unless it's lv19-20. That being said, it takes time and precious sockets to level gems. My suggestions: — gems level 1-5 remain as is; — gems level 6-11 yield 1 complete portal scroll (for a change); — gems level 12—14 yield 1 Jeweller's Orb; — gems level 15-17 yield 1 Orb of Fusing; — gems level 18-19 yield a Gemcutter's Prism; — gems level 20 yield 3 Gemcutter's Prisms; — a gem of any level + 3 Orbs of Scouring + 1 Gemcutter's Prism + 1 Orb of Regret reset the gem's level to 1. I feel this is fair because leveling a gem past level 15 doesn't exactly take a moment even if you're grinding in a very high level area, and the worth of rewards diminish the higher level you are (1 Jeweller's Orb is basically throwaway by the time you hit Merciless, and 1 Orb of Fusing is worth at most 15 minutes of grinding in late Cruel or early Merciless even without IIQ/IIR gear). Level 18 one usually hits at around character level 70. While these suggestions don't solve any major problems per se (or even attempt doing so), I feel they do help in improving one of the biggest issues with the game: its overt dependence on trading as the most efficient way of item provision by far. Ideally I don't want to spend any play time in trade chat at all, and if that means I'll have to vend items at less than quarter their market worth to sustain my progression, so be it. And as for resetting a gem's level, I often feel like if you have a high quality gem that you're using for leveling, or you've decided to make a build that would make better use of it, or something else like that, you once again have to resort to trading to get the same gem at level 1. I think it should be possible to solve this independently of online economy without spending dozens of GCPs each time you roll a new toon. (Nobody spends GCPs on leveling gems anyway.) This last recipe will actually create a good sink for GCPs and especially Regrets as their economic liquidity drops constantly on either league. <Tyrfalger> Exactly, the next act is going outside Sarn and into those wheat fields (see the map) to become a farmer. Then we can spend our days endlessly farming. Wait a minute... Última edição por moozooh#4289 em 14 de mai. de 2013 08:46:20
