Question about Elemental Equilibrium

I'm trying to make an ignite focused build that uses Lightning as main skill (Arc or Shock Nova) and I have a Stabilising Sceptre that gives me EE but I'm not sure what happens when there's my frost bomb on the enemy (i use it to lower life regen) and the searing exarch's "apply fire exposure on hit" on gloves. If I hit often with Lightning (I don't have anything but lightning added to spells btw) will it override frost bomb exposure? should I put lightning exposure on hit from gloves implicit insetad for a bigger initial hit? also my curse is Ele Weakness but I'm not sure if it's the best one? Thanx!
