Mana potions - auto use
Hi. I haven't found exactly the same suggestion, so here it is:
Mana potions should be automaticaly used when mana level is low. It would be nice to be able to set % of mana needed to autouse. Also, mana should be taken when the spell cast is complete and not as soon as I click on skill. I also had some other suggestions, but I found them explained here: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/36080 Regards. Última edição por Przunk#3633 em 28 de jul. de 2012 10:35:17

I'm very sure this won't happen. Managing your mana, drinking the right potion at the right time, is a skill you are supposed to employ. How is the game supposed to know which one of your mana potions you want to drink when they have different mods?

" Any. It should choose first from the left. I'm just used to cast my spells freely while my mana regenerates itself. That's why I mentioned that it should be an option (not everyone will like it). |

If you want to do this, why not take mana out of the game completely then. If you can't micro manage your mana, then why have it at all. Then we can do the same for health potions.
Oh the hell with it, lets just put everyone into GOD mode and swing away. Come on fella, managing your mana and health is part of the game experience. .....And that's all I have to say about that.

You still don't understand me. What I had in mind was the system that was in diablo 2 (if I am not wrong): when your mana is low and you try to cast your spell, potion is being automatically used.
" That's really funny, but I suppose that option that I suggest wouldn't ruin the gameplay at all. |

I disagree, not only is managing your mana part of the game-play but some flasks will have different effects, my 5th slot has a flask with "dispel chilled" I keep that full until I need to dispel that effect AND need mana.
Also there are single use flasks later on (I believe, I'm only at the end of A2 normal now) So, no for three reasons 1) Management is part of the game 2) Flasks have prefix/suffix's and are used for other things besides just regen mana 3) Some flasks are single use and you might not want to waste them to kill that zombie when you could wait 2s and regen enough mana to use your skill. “I look only to the good qualities of men. GGG is against hand holding, and this is hand holding to a T. Resource management is a part of every game, and is not difficult. If you don't like using mana potions, get more mana regen or a mana regen aura. Get mana after kill, get mana leech. Also, diablo 2 definitely did not automatically use a potion when you were low on mana. You must've been using a bot or something.

" I must've confused it with other game then (maybe MU online?). I've been playing D2 long time ago and I don't remember using any bot thing. So I guess that's all for the mana potions. What about my other suggestion? " |

No, the game isn't going to play itself for you.
