Multiple projectiles from 1 skill cast all being able to hit the same target.
A spell like freezing pulse can shotgun. Split arrow cannot, only ever hitting with 1 arrow per target. When multiple projectiles of a spell overlap and end up hitting the same target many times if you are close enough.

When you fire multiple projectiles in one cast and multiple of them hits one enemy. And example would with freezing pulse with LMP support you can if you are close enough get all projectiles to hit one enemy for massive damage.

Thats why everyone begs for shotgun to stay.

god .... shotgun as a mechanic is going to stay..the only skill that wont be able to shotgun anymore will be spectral throw
