Radius Boosts need buff and Better Description!

Hi, first post. Anyway I've run into a problem when determining whether auras are viable with a minion build.

Gems like Enduring Cry, Hatred, and Grace. List "15% increased area of effect radius" when they are leveled.

The support gem Elemental Proliferation lists its radius as "Radius:12"

Here's the problem: Radius is never really defined in terms of game units in any description. "Radius:12" could mean 12 ft from your character or some other pre-defined unit of length.

You can find the radius increase of auras by having two active of different totals. For example Hatred aura with no random stat and Grace with "25% increase radius". I've made a few screenshots that show how little the aura increase is right now.

In summary:
1-2 Character paces or 1 left-click = 25% increase to aura radius currently.
Active Skill Gems do not define radius in units.
Some Support Gems DO define radius in units.
Radius units are not explained anywhere. I can SEE how much larger Clarity is but don't know how many units it is. (15? 30?)

Buffs/bonuses to aura radius are hardly noticeable. One thing the Devs could do is just make the aura's party wide and not even worry about a radius on auras. It seems kinda silly, if you're going to have aura radius in the first place, to make the radius so small and scale so poorly when buff their size.
