Attack speed for CoC (2.4.0)

Tried to translate and can't understand how it works. Can you explain, is it possible to use 3 spells with CoC? How 3 spells casts now? Each 3 can be casted every 500ms? Or only one of them will be casted in 500ms?

How to calculate optimal attack speed? It looks like at a certain point more speed will not give more CoCs. Am i right? When i attack too fast, some triggers will not work, becouse cooldown of 500ms.

You are right. The new COC is designed such that the attack speed should match the spell cooldown.

Each spell will have its own cooldown. So if you have 3 spells linked to CoC, each one will be able to cast once every 500ms. So you could get 3 spells per 500ms.

If you have 100% crit chance and 100% hit chance, then yes you are right.
But if you miss sometimes or don't always crit, more hits per second can still help.

1 spell - 2 crits per second
2 spells - 4 crits per second
3 spells - 6 crits per second


You have to be realistic about these things.

If you're using Leap Slam, I have found the optimal attack speed to be around 160-163% attack speed modifier on the character screen (so global increased attack speed multiplied by weapon attack speed modifier multiplied by 1.15 if you're dual-wielding).

For quite some time my math was wrong (I thought it was 180%) and my damage was quite low as a result.
