Time to make a POE 2 on a Unreal Engine 4

As the title says time to go for AAA graphics they are already turning it into a console game so to compensate for the horrible dumbed down gameplay that is about to happen to compensate for controllers, we need AAA graphics a bit like Battlefield games and Battlefront Starwars, sure its casual games and they are boring as hell but the graphics help compensate a little bit.

Another suggestion is to port the current POE onto Unreal Engine 4 and create a new Act but a POE2 on a new Engine would be best at this point.

Unreal Engine 4 has public source code its completely open so it can be customized to any extent without any limits.

With what money? How much money will it cost them to make POE2 on a new engine?

With the money they would wasted on XBone...oh wait too late.

If they make a shit load of money on xbox and use that money to make PoE 2 .Then make PoE 2 kick ass and bring back the old ways of PoE with strategic game play that difficult and fluid and all the poe 1 core problems are solved...


That would be a dream situation at this point

What makes you think they'd handle POE 2 any better?

They've chosen to make POE into a console game. We didn't ask them to.

If they make POE 2...What could make you think they won't do exactly the same thing?

Which is a lot. GGG know they've made some early design mistakes that continue to haunt PoE.

Budget is why I'd never expect a sequel.

People donated a lot of money to GGG through supporter packs etc so that GGG would have the available funds to properly support this game and ensure things like servers are up to par and that the game runs with good performance etc aswell as start construction of a new POE in future.

I do not believe GGG would betray the community and secretly develop a console version with that money as that money was not given for GGG creating a console game.

So I believe GGG has the money.
