spark doesn't cast when close to wall

When you are very close to walls/half inside walls and look to the wall and cast spark nothing happens even when you have the threshhold jewel and sparks are supposed to spawn all around you. This is especially annoying since with abysses there are often times extremly narrow areas and with the bug it not possible to cast at all, so you can get stuck and die.

I also noticed that during normal mapping, but it is quite rare and you can play around it then.
