2h Crit IceCrash Slayer - struggle to survive sometimes

Hello there. Wanted to have some fun with Ice Crash, because it looks so cool. It's my first melee and also first armor layer defence.

I was able to get items I wanted, I'm almost 90, ending my tree. Everything looks cool on paper.
Yet I'm struggling to survive from time to time. Maybe I engage monster in a wrong way (I jump with Leap Slam, stunning, then hit usually once with Ice Crash)

I thinkg that one problem is attack speed. It's not that fast and monster hit me before I hit them. It's near 1.4as, jumping to ~2,4 in fight.

Second, it's my first character with armor layer. There are endurance charges x5 for phys reduction, too. I got nearly 3k armor. Is it too small number?

Third, leech maybe? It's ~1k hp on hit leech, but my AS is low, so maybe this doesn't work?

Resist are 76%/76%/76%/59%, not too bad I think.

I would like to hear your opinions. Maybe I miss something important here.
I just happen to die somewhere in middle of moving sometimes.
