Concentrated effect + pulverize

So for melee you can actually use both no? Or is there some restrictions? I don't see purpose to have basically same supports in game.

Except pulverize gives you more area and much less dps but conc gives you less area but much more dps?

True. But fo some builds it could be useful to use both.
I guess its about opportunity cost. Pulverize is much more fitting for the bottom/left side of the passive tree. This includes less offcolouring for an armor based chestpiece, no intelligence needed for a marauder/duelist and overall more melee specific gems. It also a nice addition for skills that dont rely on attack speed.

Each point is minor, but all in all there is a purpose.

If I really need more damage for my Cyclone build, I would swap Pulverize for Increased Melee Physical Damage support. This is just a tiny increase in "more" damage but remove the penalty of 15% less attack speed from Pulverize. I do not like the idea of using Concentrated Effect as it reduces Cyclone AOE to tiny circle. Big advantage of Cyclone is its ability to avoid most damage by strafing along the boss at a safe distance rather than hugging it.

Yeah, I haven't personally jumped on the meta Cyclone bandwagon just yet, but I'd assume an optimal 6L setup would look something like:

Cyclone - Brutality - Infused Channeling - Impale - Close Combat - Melee Physical Damage

Perhaps for clear vs bossing you would swap MPD for Pulverise; or, for more dramatic clear vs. single target swapping, you would do Concentrated Effect/Increased Area of Effect swap.

Maybe one of the slots would take Rage instead depending on build (Paradoxica for 260% flat damage scaling? Yes please!)
