Vendor Recipe for the new Elemental Penetration gem -

Hey boys and girls, today Ted is going to give a gift to the masses.



Today, I'm going to tell you how to make Elemental Penetration Support. Before I get to this, I wanna plug my twitch channel that I barely stream at (twitch.tv/thetedster). My character name is Twitchdotttvthetedster and my Gem is the only one on the market as proof that I, in fact have one OK?



Cool, so I sold 3 Gems, all level 20 (Lightning, Fire, Ice Penetration) with a corrupted Replica Bitterdream that was also colored Red/Blue/Green respectively and linked. You may not have to go through all of that, it could be as simple as selling a replica bitter with 3 level 20 gems, but the gems definitely need to be level 20, because I tried with level 1's and it didn't work.

Edit: the official recipe based on a few fun interactions asking me how I made it in-between (tonight has been crazy!) is:



1x Replica Bitterdream

1x lvl20 Lightning Penetration Gem

1x lvl20 Cold Penetration Gem

1x lvl20 Fire Penetration Gem



Edit 2: People PM'ing me telling me I am a dumb dumb not hoarding the secret, profiting, etc is a fun experience. I had a tremendously good league and it was my Birthday on the 5th. This is my gift to the community, I don't need to be dishonest to get my currency, I'll rely on RNG just like everybody else.

I can confirm that this works. Here's some proof; the Elemental Penetration Support gem is visible in the upper left.



The sockets and links on Replica Bitterdream do not seem to matter. (The one I used in the screenshot above is incidentally a Corrupted Replica Bitterdream with one white socket. Both corrupted and non-corrupted Replica Bitterdreams work fine.)

As Ted stated, the three Fire/Ice/Lightning Penetration gems must be exactly Level 20. (I tried it with Level 21 gems as well and it did not work.)

Hopefully we see some cool new multi-elemental builds outside of Inquisitor thanks to your discovery.

Have you tried this with a non-corrupt Replica Bitterdream?

Yes, same result. Non-corrupt Replica Bitterdream works fine. Sorry if my comment above was misleading; I was only trying to explain that the socket/link status seems to be unimportant.
