It was exclusive to 3.14 update. I don't remember if previous Keys were league-only or update-only, but it's only a thing for one season. If GGG didn't specify it no longer drops, that was probably an oversight from their side based on the assumption that players know it would work the same way as with previous Reliquary Keys. " Introduced the Vaal Reliquary Key, which can be found as an extremely rare drop throughout the game. When consumed in the Map Device, it grants you access to an ancient vault with a chest that drops a special foil version of a Vaal-themed unique item. Uniques dropped in this way have equal weighting. This is the rarest Reliquary Key yet. they didn't write anything about removed it from drop. Why?
