Advice: Lacerate of Haemorrhage Gladiator

New to the game, followed a guide for Lacerate of Haemorrhage Gladiator (https://pobb.in/1JcZG8FAx6sZ), got resists around 120%, chaos 75%. Replaced Jack with a 584 Reaver. It works on T16 without issues unless I have physical reflet mods. Tried 3 T17 maps, was obliterated in the first, improved resistances and DPS... 2nd map went fairly well, cleaned and took boss to 15% being first time, 3rd with 100% delirium took ages in a war of attrition until server reset...

My question is, whats the natural evolution of the build up to 20 divs.
