Stuck at Ancient Vows - Cannot Place Kabala Clan Relic

Hi! Enjoying the game so far, but seem to have come across an issue. I am at Ancient Vows and attempting to get the relics in place on the altar.

I got the Sun Clan Relic, placed that, and then went and got the Kabala Clan relic. However, now that I've returned to the altar the relic slot will not stay visible unless I am mousing over the altar.

Previously I was able to click it and the relic slot would stay visible - that's how I inserted the Sun Clan relic. But now it disappears whenever my cursor leaves the altar, meaning I can't insert the second half. If my cursor leaves to click on the relic in my inventory the interactable relic slot disappears, so I can't put it in.

I have tried logging out and in, resetting the instance, and restarting the game. I have also tried picking up the relic and mousing over the altar with the relic to see if I could get it to show up enough for me to quickly click it in, but mousing over it while holding something does nothing.

So now it appears I am progression locked till this is fixed! It's been a fun evening, thanks GGG. Guess it's time for me to take a bread regardless!

The same issue has happened to me. It appears that if you do not put both relics in at the same time the interaction becomes bugged.

While it does block completion of the quest it doesn't block the story you just miss out on some stats.

I hate to double post but I found a work around.

If you have a controller the controller interactions are not bugged and you can insert the 2nd half. I just went to character select changed to controller and was able to insert he 2nd item.

I'm having this problem also except I dont have either piece in. The window is only open if I mouse over it, if I have a relic on my curser it doesnt show up either.

anyone figure this out? i have same issue

I had the same issue. when i held down alt and clicked inspect the idol in my inventory it allowed me to place it. I also had to hold alt when i selected my buff.

I got the 2nd to go in while holding alt and placing it in from my inventory.

Same here. Puzzle pieces aren’t inserting while using a computer mouse.

Guys, try holding down the Alt key to bring up the interface and drop the relics

You can try to switch WSAD to normal mouse and it's help too
