Support gems gone after respeccing skill granted by ascendency
I ascended my ranger to a pathfinder, picked the poisonous flask points and put support gems in it. Decided I wanted to use that later in the game so respecced it and put points into poison proliferation instead. The support gems I had linked with that skill are now gone.
Didn't have enough gold to respec back into it to see if it was there. Último bump em 14 de fev de 2025 08:27:35

Can confirm, unspeccing poisonous concoction (and presumably another ascendency-granted skill) while it has support gems linked 'locks' those gems to the now hidden skill.
Additionally: - Using an uncut gem to create a support gem already linked into the 'hidden' skill quietly fails, consumes the uncut support gem, and results in no copy of the gem. - If you are traded the same support gem by a party member, you are prevented from socketing it as 'you are already using a copy of that gem' |

Same problem with monk and the "...and Scatter them to the Winds" ascendancy.

I had the same issue. I picked poisonous flashed and put 2 support gems in there. Swapped to a new flask type and my support gems were gone. I had enough gold to swap back to my old poisonous flask, but it didn’t have the support gems there either so I had to use 2 more support gems to get it back.
I want to add a socket to my flasks, but I’m afraid I will lose my extra gem slot when I potentially decide to swap to a different type of flask concoction again |

Same with Demon Form from Infernalist.
Needs to be fixed asap. With how Support Gems work this can entirely brick a character. |

I can concur,
Respeccing just wipes your support gems of the removed skill. As an extra test I repsecced back into the skill (hellhound) but the support gems did nor re-appear. edit: renamed skill-gem -> support gem which better describes the situation Última edição por Warsocket#5627 em 11 de dez de 2024 11:01:52
