Iron Rune not applying to Armor or Energy Shield

Either I am reading this incorrectly, or the 20% increase is not applying to increase max Armor or Energy Shield. It does work for Evasion.

Same issue, not getting any bonus's from armor, evasion, just energy shield. tried it on different characters and get the same results.
It increases the armor, evasion and energy shield of the item, not overall. So since you used it on an Evasion base, it increases the Evasion that item gives, if you were to socket it into a body armor that gives Evasion+Armor, then it would increase Evasion+Armor.
Thank you Aristhrottle#4830 for posting this, because I stumbled over exactly the same bug and question.

The iron rune did only apply to evasion of my leather vest. It gives no bonus to armor or energy shield.

I play the german version. From what I can say it is no translation error.

The german tooltip (translated into english) perfectly matches the english one that is displayed in the imgur screenshot above.

But "20% increased armor, evasion and energy shield" reads to me like "20% for all three of them".

If the explanation from HagathESL#4908 (thank you too) is correct - then the tooltip descripion is completely wrong - or at least incomplete and misleading.

@Developers: please check for the intended behavior and either resolve the bug or correct the tooltip.

I wasted another iron rune on another body armour, just to track the issue down.

This time the basic values of the body armour were evasion AND energy shield. After applying the iron rune to this body armour, both of its values (evasion and energy shield) went up. Armor value of my charactor does nothing.

This would point to the explanation from HagathESL#4908. Still - in this case - the tooltip is terribly wrong.

I'm certain you guys are correct, but that's also inconsistent because a storm rune increases lightning resist regardless of whether that piece of armor has a LR stat on it... it's a contradiction. I know I'm late to the discussion but I figured I'd add that.

Resistances are a global mod, % increased armor/evasion/es on armor equipment is a local mod.
