Game stuttering, freeze, and kick to character select (PS5)

Update: Game seemed much better tonight, not sure if the latest patch fixed things. I finally finished Act I...thank you, GGG.

No issues playing on PS5 during EA launch weekend. This evening, I ran into multiple instances where the game begin stuttering/hitching, then freeze, eventually resulting in a kick to title screen citing an unexpected server connectiin error. I'm in Act I - Freythorn.

Once at the title screen, I'd get back to character select after 30 seconds.

I tried using auto gateway or selecting Canada East. In both instances, the game would disconnect me within 1-2 minutes.

As mentioned, there had been no occurrences of lag, stuttering, rubberbanding, or crashing on my PS5.

I also get regular freezes on PS5 that kick me out to the login screen. Maybe once every 4 hours of play.

Canada East is pretty bad from my experience. It could be related to that. Try Washington DC if the ping isn't too bad.
