Instant Crash Upon Starting the Game: "Render Space Not Initialized Yet"

When I boot up the PoE2 it immediately crashes saying "Render space not initialized yet". It was working just fine a couple days ago. I do not remember doing anything differently that could cause this, but this user on Steam seems to have the same issue as a result of forcing their pc to shutdown: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2694490/discussions/0/594008890765518461/

I have found no way to boot the game without it crashing.

There seems to be another critical error in the middle of cleanup a little further down after the crash, not sure if it's part of the problem:

Just bumping this thread, this also happened to me today, I last played the game successfully Dec 6th. No updates, did not install anything new during that span of time.

Tried restarting Steam and my laptop, did not resolve the issue.

Tried reinstalling and still got the message immediately.
I encountered the same issue.
I had the same issue and I just solve it using NVIDIA optimization settings.
In my case the problem was due to using the screen in window mode instead of full so to change that settings I used NVIDIA.

NVIDIA experience do not allow me to optimize the setting for POE2, but I can do that to other games......

Anyone one have another idea ?

VERY HELPFUL! THANKS!
Yikes - this has now showed up for me after the most recent patch...

I tried the NVIDIA settings - nothing.
Restarted PC - nothing.
Verified the steam files - nothing.
Tried the standalone client - nothing.

Updated the NVIDIA driver and it now has the option to Optimize POE2. I optimized it and bam! it's working again.
