Quest Item Temple Door Idol stuck in inventory

When on the quest to enter temple of Kopec I teleported to a person in my party instead of opening the door myself, then carried on as normal until end of cruel. This caused the Temple Door Idol to stay in my inventory even thought the quest is completed and there is no door to open.

I'm assuming I might get rid of it by joining someone who is on the quest, and also that the real bug is that I was able to teleport to the party member in the first place.

Edit: All I had to do was go to a "Present" zone, teleport back to get to present encampment and walk down.

I also had a similar problem, except I had already finished the act and had no waypoint available to teleport back to. I had to get to the Sandswept Marsh waypoint and then run to the camp the same way as the start of the act, but at least I could open the door and get rid of the item.

Go to the Temple of Kopec and drop it on the floor
