Am I misunderstanding Elemental Invocation? Only 1 cast of Lightning Conduit / Comet
 It says 500 energy max, with 10 energy per 0.1s base cast time. Conduit has a 1s cast time + 1s "total time" (unmodifiable), so I figured 2s. But at 100% energy I only have 1 cast of it? When they did the Big Nerf of Cast on X gems, they "forgot" to tell us they specifically nerfed Comet (and I guess Conduit) energy requirement.
Before the nerf Comet needed something like 166 energy to trigger in my Cast on Freeze (IIRC it was 10 energy per 0.12s of cast time). After it requires 300 energy and this doesn't match the gem tooltip which says 10 energy per 0.1s of cast time, which adds up to 200 energy for 2s of total base cast time. " Thanks for the clarification, that seems like a reasonable guess. I didn't see anything explicit in the 0.1.0d patch notes, so I guess they'll get around to updating it eventually. |

I've been having this issue trying to get comet to work. Fully charged I got one comet with 40% energy remaining suggesting it costs 300 but as you explained the tooltip does not match the behaviour.

What about Lightning Conduit? My in-game tool-tip says I get 3 casts when at 100%, but its only casting the once..
I do have Ritual Cadence keystone allocated. IGN: Eso_Es
