Where is a GGG Performance Statement ?

massive crashes and PC freezes, FPS drops as a Minion Witch from 130 to 25, skills that sometimes cause massive FPS drops and more. You read about it everywhere and I myself have to change my class because I don't want to have 25-30 FPS in fights with good hardware.

I understand that GGG has a lot to do and I praise the work that they put out patches almost every day

But where is a statement on performance? Are there plans for settings for MTX/Skills? When I spam firewall, my frames go down from 120 to 70. There is only silence and that's why I'm pausing the EA until something happens

Dunno, I am having a stable 120+ fps 1440p experience with a 3070 64gb ram (I know anything past 32gb does nothing) and a 12th gen i5.

Thats pretty much 4year old hardware

I've barely read about it anywhere and I'm not experiencing the issues myself.

I'm not saying you aren't, I'm sure you are, but you're also likely living in a bubble where you are looking for this type of feedback because it is what is affecting you the most personally. Speaking as a player not experiencing these issues, I only see performance issues mentioned very sporadically, and I'm sure GGG will be pushing out fixes as they are fixed and available. I don't think the problem is widespread or extreme enough to warrant some sort of emergency response like you seem to.

No, a small number of really loud people are whining about it. Strangely people tend to not make lots posts about how their game isn't crashing.

I think I had quite a few client freezes like a week ago, seems that was patched though - I never hit any performance issue than the occasional crash on roughly 4year old hardware

I am currently running a 12th gen i5 in a Laptop with 32 GB of ram and a 4070 that has 8GB of ram and have had no crashes and a few times it has lowered FPS or stuttered when the whole screen was full of mobs and explosions but it was a split second and nothing crazy. I know 10+ people also playing on similar or higher specs than me and have also had similar experiences.

I also know there are a lot of different PC specs out there that can have different reactions so it could be a random setup that needs looked at or is having conflicts.

But there is also A lot of people that don't know how to or don't take the time to keep up with Drivers and updates or blowing the inside of their PC or laptops out with air and those things can have major impacts on performance.

I would double check internal and external network latency at your home with ping / speed test as well as checking all Motherboard / Processor and GPU drivers. Then check that everything is dust free and not getting restricted or overheated and causing it to throttle and then try running a stress / load test on your CPU / Memory and GPU for an hour or 2 when you are not using your PC to confirm everything is working correctly or not.

If anyone reading this is already doing this or keeps up with maintenance and updates on a regular bases then this is obviously not meant for you and wont help your specific issue and you may have a more restricted or unique issue caused by certain combinations that will need worked out by GGG. I guarantee this will help a lot of people experiencing these types of problems that don't keep up with this stuff on a regular basis.

Not going to post links to any sites or tools here but if anyone would like any info or pointers on what tools to use and where to find them i would be happy to try to help point people in the right direction through messages or if needed i can make another post dedicated just to system maintenance and updates that has links and instructions there.

I am running RTX4800 and 7800x3d and during single target with lightning rod/cast on shock ball lightning my fps goes in the dumpster, actually unplyable levels, like sub 10 fps.

The biggest problem I had that many have experienced was the hard freezes during loading where you had to reboot your PC. POEuncrasher seems to have solved this problem, but I hope GGG finds its own solution

1. Did you patch drivers for GPU/CPU/Mainboard?
2. Are you playing on cable/WiFi?
3. Upscaling?
5. What renderer are you using?
6. Try culling effectsand Dynamic resolution with a target FPS to your liking
