Web browsing is slow with PoE2 windowed fullscreen on the background

So if I leave PoE2 in the background, some other graphical applications become super slow. If I try to watch a video on YT, it will regularly freeze with only the sound playing. Scrolling is choppy, etc.

I have same exact issue and lost what can be causing

same exact problem here, at a loss on what could be causing it but its really frustrating... makes trading on the website and watching videos impossible.

any fixes found by you guys?

ive found alt tabbing when in the passive skill tree i can use my web browser fine, so thats good for using the trade site but still cant watch videos while playing

Do you have checked in the "Task Manager" the CPU and Ethernet usage?
And do you have reduced in the POE2 Options the "FPS while in background"?

The problem with laggy videos was solved for me when I disabled "Triple-buffering" in the settings.

Your problem is Windows 11 if you have it. It puts shit into Efficiency Mode. Make a shortcut for the browser then after the location under the "Target" spot, so at the end, put a space then add

-disable-features=UseEcoQoSForBackgroundProcess

to it. Then if you want it pinned, you pin the shortcut, not the main file. Don't open the shortcut first, right click the shortcut and click Pin to Start.
