Mantra of Destruction is not adding damage nor converting.

After testing Mantra of Destruction I've noticed that upon reaching 10 combo and activating it I get no change in dps nor get added/converted chaos damage. In addition combining Mantra of Destruction with Premeditation is not giving a bonus either. Only after scoring a kill does dps go up thanks to Purple Flames of Chayula.

For testing i used Whirling Assault which might itself be bugged since it seems to be janky. Nevertheless it is an interaction I wanted to test out since Whirling Assault pairs nicely with Mantra of Destruction.

Just wanted to comment that I am seeing this same bug. I am also seeing it with Infernal Cry. No added fire damage and DPS does not go up. Its crazy this has not been reported more as I know infernal cry is used with a lot of stuff. I tested with Whirling Assault, Vaulting Impact and Leap Slam. All the same issue.
