Increased Effect of Withered from jewels and Strip Away on Blasphemy are both not working.

Without the jewel I have 40% increased effect of Withered from the Wither away branch, which gives me 70% Withered when fully applied on a mob with my Dark Effigy. When I equip a jewel with 10% Increased Effect of Withered in my passive tree, it should increase the total amount of Withered to 75%. However in reality there is no change, and the total amount stays at 70%.

When I equip Strip Away support gem to Blasphemy with Despair socketted, it shows that I have 30% exposure effect modifier in the expanded tooltip, however there is no change to the amount of resist removed on the mob's Despair debuff.

Tested the first and I agree, Withered Jewels show no effect.


For the second, it's probably because Despair does not apply Exposure, the tooltip states it affects Chaos Resistance (and it does in fact shred Chaos Res), but if you look at a skill like Oil Grenade, it explicitly states that applies Fire Exposure, so I assume this is intentional. Strip Away does not interact with Despair, but you can use Heightened Curse instead.

Afaik there's no Chaos Exposure in the game yet.
