Crashing at first sekhemas boss after patch

As the title says, As I enter the boss room for trial of sekhemas, my CPU use skyrockets then I crash. Specifically, As i get to the end of the little bridge then get on the ground again, that moment is when the cpu maxes then the crash occurs. This did not happen before the patch. Unsure what was changed.

I have exactly the same issue. Used to work perfectly before the patch. No driver changes or anything like that.

Found a fix. Apparently, some file was corrupted in my installation. The fix was to check the integrity of the game files in Steam. The check found 1 file that failed to validate and downloaded it (16,5Mb).
How to fix: * Right click PoE2 in your Steam Library -> Properties * Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files * Wait for the check to finish, it will download the needed file(s) automatically if something is wrong |
