Herald of Plague does not trigger

This herald doesn’t trigger. I have a merc using a bow with gas arrow, no matter what I do it doesn’t trigger. After searching around it sounds like everyone is experiencing this.

It works fine if you apply poisons on hit. The gas clouds don't inflict poisons, they just put a poison debuff on the enemies based on a set amount of damage.

This is what gas arrow says.

“Does not hit, but poisons enemies as though hitting them.”

I’m not sure how that can be interpreted any other way other than it poisons enemies…?

Herald of Plague does not require “hitting” an enemy with poison. It just says it triggers when you kill poisoned enemies.

I think this thread is related. Looks like enemies died from Gas Arrow fail to recognize you as a killer.

Interesting because I also tried just using basic crossbow shot with envenom, and that didn't work either.

I suspect this not specific to gas arrow. My best guess is the part that is failing is "when you kill poisoned enemies," period.

Like it doesn't trigger off of gas grenade either, just tested it.

I tested also with crossbow with socket poison gem. Doesn't trigger the herald o plague.it is totally bugged since there's no indicator nor icon that ensures that is enabled. Need to be a major fix couse nothing works with all combinations by killing poisoned enemies
