can't interact with some currency items in currency stash tab

This is a strange one: I booted up the game this morning and I can't interact with any of the items in the top-most row of the currency stash tab (i.e. transmutation, augmentation, alchemy, regal, and chaos orbs). I can't left-click them to pick them up, right-click to use them, ctrl-click, nor shift-click them.

The other currency items in my stash tab are working as normal.

Putting an item into the middle area for easy crafting doesn't change anything. I can click and right click every thing else in my menus and in the game. I tried closing the game entirely and reopening and that didn't change anything.

I can use those currency items if I've picked them up from the ground or collected the shards for them in my inventory.

edit: Issue seems to be resolved for now. I can interact and use the aforementioned items again

I've had this issue come on and off again, and what I've noticed is that it's an area in the top left corner of my screen that I can't click on. Doesn't matter if it's a menu, the regular game area, whatever I try to click in that zone does not respond to mouse inputs.

I don't know if this is relevant, but sometimes I like to watch videos using the picture-in-picture feature that Firefox has and I do like to put the video window frame in the top left corner (although usually in a smaller window size than the area of the uninteractable zone). I don't know if there's a correlation there or just coincidence.

I've identified this strange behaviour in other games I play on Steam. At this point I have to chalk it up with some weird thing that my PC is doing and not anything happening in-game.
