Asendancy unobtainable bug

When I got to lvl 40, after having already completed sekhema trial for the first 2 points, I asked a friend to carry me through the chaos lvl 80 trial at lvl 40 to get the remaining ascendancy points.
At the time, I had the quest item for trial of chaos in my inventory.
So to recap:
- I have the first ascendancy complete
- Got quest item for second ascendancy in inventory (lvl 38 Inscribed Ultimatum)
- I use instead a lvl 80 Inscribed Ultimatum and bring the 3 Fragments for the trialmaster with me

So we complete the inscribed ultimatum, I get my 3rd and 4th point from the 10th trial font and get my 5th and 6th point from the trialmaster font.

At this point I realize, unlike the Sekhema trial, we don't see all 4 ascendancy fonts throughout. And I still have to complete the lvl 38 quest to get the last 2 points anyway.

Now the issue however is, completing the lvl 80 Ultimatum completed the quest for me and took out the quest item from my inventory.
And all trials, doesn't matter the lvl, if Sekhema 2-3 or 4 floor, or Ultimatum lvl 40, 80. No trial grants me points any more. It also says on all that they don't grant points any more.

So I am basically stuck on a char that has only 3 completed ascendancies and cant get the last 2 points.
