No portal available after breechstone put in vault/map device

Hi,

I wanted to do my breechstone boss event for the second time. So to ensure I did not lag I closed all things including steam, which closed poe2.

So I started poe2 again, e.g steam starts, I log into poe2, select char and then directly use the map device to the breechstone in the vault.

Now the following happens:

The first 2-3 portals get shown and then erased and a error message appears in my chat window: "Required vault key Activation cancelled".

Now my breechstone is gone from my inventory, so I can't do the boss event since there are no portals...

Edit: I think I might have put it in the realmgate instead of the vault or vice versa. Perhaps make it so that you can't put in the wrong one and give hint to the user where to put it, since this strange error message in chat ain't the way to go...

The breechstone apparently was in the map device when I tried to open a new map the next day I found it. Anyway super confusing mechanic, when it fails you should just out it back to the inventory where it came from. (but better would be to not even let a user do this in the first place)
