NB: MAJOR PC System Instability Issue
A MAJOR ISSUE I have found with POE2 is that it shares the same issue that all new games have. It shares an engine (although not the same as others in the industry, just new and "improved") that forces users to upgrade their pc's that are barely 2 years old, to the latest RTX 8090ti superv2 valued at $6000, forcing degenerate gamers to sell off our family home and settle for a 1 bedroom unit with a communal toilet and shared Wi-Fi just to enjoy the beautifully, well-crafted and clear-cut game, Path of Exile 2.
I love Path of Exile 2, I love playing it with a full stack of friends, I love picking up Divines, I love the sounds when different currencies drop, I love watching mobs explode... I even started to love dying too. However, I've endured this love at 6-50fps with downscaled window mode for long enough. I have decided that after buffing all weighstones hitting tier 16's, and precursors buffing maps causing them to be unplayable due to 0.5fps and after game crashes or my pc turning off completely; that I will now take a step back and stop playing in the hopes that the optimization of the game and its engine allows for people to remain in their family homes that they grew up in, and that they can continue asking their parents to fund their account to buy your lovely cosmetics. PS. I have no experience in game development, therefore no idea what it would take to achieve this. I just know that many people experience similar issues, this is a rant, but mainly... It's a cry for help. Último bump em 6 de fev de 2025 03:08:13

The game has little to do with the GPU, but primarily the CPU. And no, the problem faced by modern games isn't the same as this one, in fact, the problem of Path of Exile 2 has existed for approximately 10 years with Path of Exile 1, it shares the same engine and is primarily related to the CPU. The game is heavily reliant on Single Core CPU performance. But everyone here agrees that the game needs better optimization.
