The Altar of Corruption in Jiquani Shrine has been preventing me from clicking.

When I click on the Altar of Corruption, select an identified "Vicious Knight, Armored Helmet" and click the button to corrupt, the corruption window closes and I can't open doors or change equipment. I can, however, use my skills.
