ACT 2: Ancient Vows quest not dropping relic at the indicated location

The quest points the player to find the relic at the Valley of the Titans. However, it doesn't matter how many times you run the map, the Sun Clan relic won't drop.

To solve the issue, the player has to go back to the Bone Pits and slay monsters until the relic drops.

The quest pointer is effectively wasting player's time as it's misleading the player to find the relic in an incorrect area.
