Arbiter of Ash bugged death

Died on T2 Arbiter but my dot (decompose) killed him too, so he dies after me. I respawned (had 1 attempt left) and got the book, but no loot. Also, I cannot click on the quest item (Power Awaits You) and complete the quest as the game loaded the screen when the fight starts. Does this brick my progress?
