Cold Snap targeting bug
I have a Sorcerer that specializes in cold/ice spells. This of courses makes Cold Snap a key ability for her.
Most of the time I move the cursor over the frozen target, press my "E" key and the ability activates. Popping the frost and dealing a bunch of damage. Sometimes, usually in a bigger, more intense fight, could be a random mob, a blue a yellow, any target really, I see them frozen, target, and it just wont go off no matter how many times I press the key. I have to assume either the system doesnt think the mob is frozen when my client dopes, even though I have a good ping and strong connection, or something else bug wise is happening. I can confirm that. Sometimes when there are many monsters frozen together (e.g. with Frost Bomb), Cold Snap doesn't cast on one of the frozen monsters and I have to target another of the frozen monsters. Or run around to have another angle to the frozen monster. That's really annoying and time consuming.
I don't know if that has to do with having "line of sight" to the monster (but that would be a bad mechanic, cause the game isn't in ego view). |

I wondered about LOS being the core issue too.
That is, from my top down perspective LOS looks fine but the game engine doesn't agree for some reason.
